We are a non profit group with a mission to educate homeowners and businesses about the economic and environmental benefits of PV solar. Our primary objective is to influence a greater number of solar panel installations on homes, schools, and businesses across the US and the rest of the world at an accelerating pace.
We don’t accept advertising and while both national brands as well as regional and local installers are promoted on EvergreenSolar.com our aim is solely to connect the homeowner with the best possible manufacturers, suppliers, equipment, and installers. In the coming months we will be rolling out a nationwide directory of hand vetted installers in every town and city in America. Our proprietary scoring system ranks local solar installers by a combination of feedback from city inspectors, local utility companies, BBB, and customer surveys. We are very grateful to any homeowners willing to contact us and provide honest feedback from their experiences in with their experience with the chosen installer and/or equipment.
Funding
We are supported by federal and private grants.
Board of Directors
Our new board is currently being selected and will be published here shortly.
Scholarships & K-12 Grants
