DANIEL WELCH
Vice President and General Manager, US Manufacturing
Mr. Welch joined Evergreen Solar in May 2007 and has served as Vice President and General Manager, US Manufacturing since April 2010. Prior to his current role he was Senior Director, Process Engineering where he managed the technology pilot and scale-up activities and the successful start-up and ramp of the Devens factory. Prior to joining Evergreen Solar, Mr. Welch spent 23 years in the Semiconductor Industry with Intel Corporation and with Digital Equipment Corporation where he held various Sr. Management roles in Engineering including responsibility for Technology and Product Introduction, Yield and Reliability, New Factory Start-Up and High Volume Manufacturing.
Mr. Welch holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in New York.
