DR. TERRY BAILEY joined Evergreen Solar in August 2004 as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales.

Prior to this position, Dr. Bailey was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for leading solar technology supplier AstroPower, Inc., which was acquired by GE (NYSE:GE). Dr. Bailey served as CEO of Solus Micro Technologies; a MEMS based telecommunication startup prior to joining the solar industry. Previously, Dr. Bailey was Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of NEC Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEC. Prior to NEC, Dr. Bailey was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Apple’s Imaging Division. In this position, he had worldwide P&L responsibility for all of Apple’s Imaging Products, which generated over $1 billion in annual revenues.

Dr. Bailey earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, from Florida State University, specializing in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance research and computer system graphics integration. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama.
